In the past couple of years, adolescents, youth as well as adults have shown an increased experience of negative emotions, ranging from anxiety, depressive mood, exhaustion, sadness, anger, and frustration amongst others. The constant stressors present in the environment contribute as well to these emotions. As a result of which, one experiences a range of difficulties with respect to the personal and professional domains of life, having an impact on their behaviour and moods as well. Counselling sessions by trained professionals provide a space for active listening and feeling relieved post that. Clients have reported feeling heard, safe and relaxed post the session.

 

With a psycho-social and trauma informed lens, psychotherapy sessions at the clinic further enable individuals to work on their current concerns by delving deeper and resolving past issues. Individuals in their teen years usually face a tumultuous time period with multi-fold changes happening to them. As a result of which individuals may start to experience a multitude of negative emotional states such as anxiety, fear, panic, confusion, irritation, anger, hopelessness, helpless, shame & emotional overwhelm amongst others. It may manifest in them not being able to focus, overthinking, not being able to establish support networks, impact on work, & other challenges. Professionals in our team are equipped to cater to such transition difficulties and help such young adults with building effective coping skills & being in an enhanced well-being state.
As individuals establish newer families and newer careers, certain emotional concerns may come up, all having an impact on their work and relationships. Adults in their middle age or geriatric age, tend to experience a range of concerns with respect to their children presenting behavioural concerns, health concerns arising, difficulties in career & other domains of life. This is likely to bring up a range of emotional as well as physical concerns for them. Some may require professional help to develop on skills needed to handle multiple stressors and some may require emotional support from the sessions.
